Summary
- Refs FLA-188.
- Migrates the docs-tidb-operator postsubmit from Jenkins to a decorated
Kubernetes Prow job.
Changes
- Rewrites
`prow-jobs/pingcap/docs-tidb-operator/latest-postsubmits.yaml` with
`agent: kubernetes`, `cluster: default`, and inline pod spec.
- Uses
`ghcr.io/pingcap-qe/cd/builders/docs:v2026.4.12-47-gbef444c_linux_amd64`
and the `docs-cn` secret.
- Builds and uploads both `output_en.pdf` and `output_zh.pdf` with
`tidb-in-kubernetes-{version}-{en|zh}-manual.pdf` names.
- Removes the Jenkins DSL, pipeline script, and pod template for
`merged_update`.
Testing
- `ruby -e 'require "yaml"; ARGV.each { |f| YAML.load_file(f); puts
"#{f}: ok" }'
prow-jobs/pingcap/docs-tidb-operator/latest-postsubmits.yaml
prow-jobs/kustomization.yaml`
- `git diff --check`
- Verified `prow-jobs/kustomization.yaml` entries match the generated
file list using the same sort/key logic.
- Not run locally: Prow `checkconfig` because Docker daemon is
unavailable in this workspace.
Risk
- Medium: job runtime changes from Jenkins pod template to Prow
decorated Kubernetes job.
- Rollback: restore the three Jenkins files and revert
`latest-postsubmits.yaml` to `agent: jenkins`.
